1. Introduction

Welcome to Gas Tech Plumbers Ltd. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by us, including but not limited to boiler installation, boiler servicing, boiler repairs, plumbing, heating system upgrades, and emergency call-outs.
By requesting or accepting our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Our Services

Gas Tech Plumbers Ltd provides professional domestic and commercial gas, heating, and plumbing services in accordance with current Gas Safe, Building Regulations, and relevant British Standards.

All gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers.

3. Quotations & Pricing

  • All quotations are free, no-obligation, and valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

  • Quotations include labour, materials, and VAT (where applicable).

  • Any additional work required beyond the quoted scope will be discussed and agreed before proceeding.

  • In the event that unforeseen issues arise (e.g., existing faults, poor system condition, inaccessible pipework), we will inform you and provide an updated quotation before continuing.

4. Payment Terms

  • A deposit may be required before commencing larger projects such as boiler installations.

  • Full payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Payment can be made by bank transfer, debit/credit card, or cash.

  • Late payments may incur interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule a booking with at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • If work is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, a call-out or cancellation charge may apply.

  • Gas Tech Plumbers Ltd reserves the right to cancel or reschedule work due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., sickness, material shortages, severe weather).

6. Workmanship Guarantee

  • All labour is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion unless stated otherwise.

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to all installed products (e.g., boilers, controls, valves).

  • Our guarantee covers workmanship defects only; it does not cover system misuse, interference by others, or faults due to existing plumbing/gas issues not caused by our work.

7. Boiler Installation Specific Terms

  • The customer is responsible for ensuring adequate gas supply, water pressure, and power supply prior to installation.

  • All installations are carried out in line with Gas Safe and Building Regulations.

  • After completion, a Gas Safe certificate will be issued.

  • Any remedial work required due to pre-existing faults (e.g., sludge, leaks, undersized pipework) will be charged separately.

8. Repairs & Servicing

  • Our engineers will diagnose faults to the best of their ability; however, some issues may require additional visits or parts.

  • Service and safety checks are carried out per manufacturer instructions and Gas Safe standards.

  • We are not liable for breakdowns resulting from age, wear, pre-existing conditions, or lack of maintenance.

9. Emergency Call-Outs

  • 24/7 emergency service is subject to engineer availability.

  • Emergency rates apply outside of normal working hours (Monday–Friday 8:00–18:00, Saturday 9:00–14:00).

  • Payment for emergency work is due upon completion.

10. Liability

  • Gas Tech Plumbers Ltd holds public liability insurance covering our services.

  • We are not liable for:

    • Damage caused by existing system faults or poor installations by others.

    • Consequential loss (e.g., loss of rent, water damage, heating downtime).

    • Delays due to parts availability or supplier issues.

  • Your statutory rights are not affected.

11. Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure clear access to the work area.

  • Provide necessary utilities (electricity, gas, water).

  • Notify us of any known hazards (e.g., asbestos, unsafe wiring, leaks).

  • Obtain permission from property owners or landlords (if applicable).

12. Waste Removal & Disposal

We will remove any waste materials we create during installation or repair unless agreed otherwise. Old boilers and scrap may be disposed of responsibly in accordance with environmental regulations.

13. Complaints

We aim for complete customer satisfaction. If you are unhappy with our service:

  • We will investigate and respond within 10 working days.

  • If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be referred to Gas Safe Register or an approved alternative dispute resolution body.

14. Privacy & Data Protection

We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Customer details are stored securely and used only for business purposes such as quotes, scheduling, and certification.


We never sell or share your personal data.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
